Midweek Mirth

One of the misconceptions about being a Christian is non-Christians think we don’t know how to have fun or have a sense of humor. Trust me, if the Big Guy can have a sense of humor when it comes to dealing with us mere mortals, so can we.

The difference for Christians is we don’t have to debase ourselves or others to generate a smile. Laughter at life or ourselves is a gift from God.

It’s time for some a little Midweek Mirth to help us grin through this virus shutdown, so let’s smile a little!

Briefs

Waiting now on my murder hornet stimulus check.

During these uncertain times, the only thing that could be worse is if the murder hornets are attracted to hand sanitizer.

Today’s weather? Room temperature.

If you hear a funny corona virus joke, please laugh into your elbow.

Due to the corona virus, the five-second rule has been reduced to the three-second rule.

To avoid the virus, eat garlic. Lots of garlic. It won’t do anything against the virus, but it will keep other people away.

And now for the bonus for our still quarantined friends (and the rest of us as well).

For Those Still in Quarantine

For those who have lost track, today is Blursday, the fortyteenth day of Maprilay.

Sitting on the couch, a husband sweetly whispered, “The best part about all of this is I get to spend more time with you.” As the wife looked over at him lovingly, she realized he was talking to the dog, not her.

A wife and husband are both quarantined at home. If one of them dies, I assure you it was not the virus that killed them.

I’ve eaten 14 meals and taken six naps and it’s still today. Are you kidding me?
