Review Time

The book Heaven Shining Through is on its way. A book launch date has been set. Presentations and interviews have been scheduled.

Now it’s hurry up and wait!

While I’m waiting, I would like to invite a few of you to review the book. My requirements are few … pray for me and the project, read the book and post an honest review at Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble or your personal website or blog. I have solicited some reviews from family and friends, but it is important the book receives critical review from others I do not know personally.

If interested, send me an e-mail at with the subject “review”. If selected, I will send you a copy of the book prior to its launch. I am looking for a cross-section of potential reviewers.

A synopsis of the book …

Samantha is dreading her return home. Throughout her life, she had a rocky relationship with her mother – and now her mother is all she has left.

Through a nostalgic look back, Samantha recognizes the presence of God in an ordinary life. She learns more about herself as a wife and mother who has had her share of sorrow and blessings.

As her faith increases, she is able to see her mother through new eyes, leading to reconciliation … and is reminded of that every time she sees Heaven Shining Through.

The book will officially launch April 29 at a noon reception at The Mill Cafe in Dover-Foxcroft, ME. Additional presentations have been scheduled in Maine and upstate New York, and I would be willing to speak to any group that might want to invite me. As a note, the “action” takes place in northern New Jersey, and I would love to make an appearance there as well.

Thanks in advance for your help and support.

  1. I think i would enjoy reading your book. However from past experience. I had to use a pdf copy and because of that i didnt meet the requirements for an amazon review. But i was able to meet all other requirements. Feel free to ask Kate for a anonymous review or recommendation of me. I do not need to know what she says, or whether it was or wasnot apart of your decision making process. All i ask is that you pray before deciding. But i am making myself available for you.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this subject!
